Found a bug, stuck on something, or have an idea? Orbit Dash is made by one person, and every message reaches me.

If something isn't working, tell me your device, its iOS version, and the version shown at the foot of Settings.

Common questions

How do I play?

Your dot circles a planet. Tap anywhere to launch it along its orbit. If it crosses the next planet's ring, it's caught there; if it misses every ring, it drifts off into space and the run ends. Your score is the number of planets you climb.

What's a Perfect?

Cross a ring right on its centre line. Perfects in a row build a combo, which multiplies the stardust you collect, and the music climbs with it.

What's the rescue?

Once per run, when your run ends, you can continue from the last planet you reached. It costs a short ad, or nothing if you own Remove ads or the Bundle.

Can I turn off the ads?

Yes. Remove ads is a one-time purchase that turns off every ad and makes the rescue free. The Bundle does the same and adds three premium looks: a dot skin and two trails. If you already own Remove ads, the Skins pack adds those looks. You'll find them in Settings and in the Hangar.

I bought something on another device.

Your purchases come back on their own on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. If one doesn't, tap Restore purchases in Settings.

Where is my progress saved?

On your device. There's no account and no cloud sync, so deleting the game deletes your stardust, your Hangar, your streak and your stats. A backup of your device to iCloud or a computer includes them. Your purchases come back. If you're signed in to Game Center, it keeps your best score, which returns to the game when you sign in again. Your badges stay in Game Center as achievements, but the game starts its own badges over.

How do the daily challenge and streak work?

There's a new challenge every day, and it resets at midnight your time. Finish at least one run a day to keep your streak going.

Where's Game Center?

The game offers to sign you in when it starts, or you can sign in to Game Center in your device's Settings app. Your best climb goes on the leaderboard, which opens from your best score on the home screen, and your badges unlock as Game Center achievements.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, open Settings › Privacy & data › Ad privacy choices in the game. The privacy policy explains what Google's consent form covers.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone with iOS 17 or later and iPad with iPadOS 17 or later, including iPhone Duo, open or closed. It plays in portrait on iPhone, and in any orientation on iPad and on the open iPhone Duo.
